PetSmart National Adoption Weekend Feb. 22-24

Four times per year, PetSmart Charities works with Animal Welfare Organizations across North America to host pet adoption events within PetSmart stores. Our organization is always pleased to be a part of these events and this coming adoption weekend will be a great opportunity for adopters to meet some of our animals.

Though we never know which animals will still be available for these weekends, we try to bring as many as possible to give them all a chance at a new home.

Please make sure to stop by and see us at PetSmart at 214 Morrell Road in Knoxville !

OUR SITE HAS A NEW LOOK!

Did you know that nearly 4 million dogs and cats are put to death in Municipal Shelters each year simply because there are not enough homes for them?   That's 10,959.00 animals killed per day!
Did you know that approximately 70% of all cats that enter a Municipal Shelter are killed and that only 30% make it out alive?
How about the fact that 25% of all dogs that enter Municipal Shelters are pure breed dogs from puppy mills and that Pit Bull Terrier type dogs have the highest rate of euthanasia?
You can help save lives by spaying or neutering your pet and by adopting a Shelter pet.  And if you are looking for a pure bred dog or cat, be sure to check your local Shelter or Rescue Group.  Chances are you'll find what your looking for!

"Look deep into the eyes of any animal, and then for a moment, trade places, their life becomes as precious as yours and you become as vulnerable as them. Now smile if you believe all animals deserve our respect and our protection, for in a way, they are us, and we are them." ~ Philip Ochoa Board Member, ALL FOR ANIMALS
